Behind every finish line, water station, and cheering crowd is a team of dedicated volunteers making race day unforgettable. Whether you have an hour to spare or want to be more involved throughout the year, there's a place for you on the Gulf Coast Runners volunteer team. No experience is necessary—we'll provide the training and support you need.
Volunteer Opportunities
Race Day Setup
Help prepare the start and finish areas by setting up tents, signage, registration tables, water stations, and other race-day essentials before participants arrive.
Course Marshal
Guide runners safely along the course, direct traffic where needed, and cheer participants on as they make their way to the finish line.
Packet Pickup & Registration
Welcome runners, distribute race bibs and shirts, answer questions, and help participants get ready for race day.
Finish Line Team
Celebrate every accomplishment by handing out medals, assisting finishers, and helping create an unforgettable finish-line experience.
Water Station Crew
Keep runners hydrated and motivated by handing out water, sports drinks, and plenty of encouragement along the course.
Race Logistics
Support the behind-the-scenes work that keeps events running smoothly, including equipment transport, supplies, course setup, and cleanup.
