- Tropicool 5K : May 2, 2004- Fundraiser for Youth Development Bob Carney is a sponsor for this race. Earn your volunteer point at this race!
- Immokalee 5K: April 3, 2004
- Fitness Challenge: June 6, 2004. Applications are out.
- Pippins 5K: July 4, 2004

- Race at the Vineyards October 31, 2004: Lisa Rice
Race Review (George Dondanville):
- Naples Daily News Half Marathon
- $8000.00 in main Account but it was suggested by George Dondanvile :
$4000.00 keep in main account
$4000.00 to club Youth Development
- George suggested that the purpose of this race be to build the youth development fund over time. Continued discussion will follow next month.
- MS Homes: Lenar Home: one more year at this site but it will be moves to other sites

- Heart 5K: Crain Harrington sent bill for $500.00
- Fitness Challenge: $250.00 will be charges to run event

Mentoring:
- Andy Robinson reported that it is slowing some but people are still meeting at Gulf View Middle School on Saturday mornings.
Social Activities:
- Ron Bailey reported: Big Brothers/Big Sisters Get Together is on April 17, 2004 at Veterans Park. We need help for this event so please contact Ron for details.
- Pot Luck at Perry & Rosemarie Silverman on April 14, 2004
- Cookout on Memorial Day the Cove at Port Royal near Doug Shumanns House. More details will follow as they develop.
- It was suggested that there be a possible Get Together with Ft. Myers Track Club (?) Lovers Key (?)
Web Site:
- No new changes to report but the applications for tripicool 5K will be on the GCR’s Site.
Old Business
- Changes in board terms/ meeting attendance:
It was decided to leave present terms as is. It was suggested that board members need to realize that their attendance is important and if they can’t attend meeting they need to drop off board.
- Youth Development/Changes in funding:
It was suggested that a self sustaining fund for Youth Development be developed. Steve Spair is interested in this project.
- Striders: No new information
- Bob Ferrante reported on a Sound System to be used at the races. The cost to purchase this is $ 580.00. It was voted on.
New Business
- New board member candidates:

- Change of meeting day:
There will be a change of meeting day to Wednesdays starting in May
- George Dondanville reported that on April 23, 2004 at Manatee Middle School there will be track events ( like Pan Am Games). Volunteer are needed from GCR’s. For more info call George.
