On The Run Trail Run:
February 15, 2004. Entry forms in the Naples on The Run store. Please Car Pool because the charge for parking is $4.00.

Naples Daily News Half Marathon
George asked that Loretta sell leftover shirts for $5.00. There will be tent for shirt sales (possible rain that day). Set up for the Pasta Party will be at 2:30 PM at First Watch and serving will start at 4:30 PM

Race Review:
Dave Cranor/Membership Run:
The following was discussion: Possible race being scored & used trophies in the future.

Treasurers Report:
Checking Account: $8793.00
Youth Account: $4307.00
990 Tax Exemption Return Form was discussed for the future. We spent $1590.00 this year for insurance with RRCA.

Newsletter- Jennifer Auray
It will be going out Feb 1st (or later)

Mentoring: Andy Robinson
He meeting with new runners at Gulfview Middle School track every Saturday. He has 3 to 5 new participants and it is picking up. A possible story in the newsletter was discussed.

Social Activities: Ron Bailey
New ideas were discussed:
Training Runs
Eco challenges
Dance Night
Road trips
Joint Activity with Big Brothers/Big Sisters: on April 17th. We need volunteers.

Web Site:
Updated and Hall Of Fame Members were discussed.

Board resignations/Additions
A big thanks to Bill Murphy and Lisa LeBlanc-Hutchins for all they did and do for GCR! Tim Lister was voted on to the board. Welcome Tim!

There was a discussion about attendance guidelines at the board meeting.

Race Applications on line
It was voted that we try this method of sign up with the Tropicool Race in May. Race forms will still be at Naples On The Run Store for those who choose that method of signup.

Striders
GCR's have been negotiating with this group. No details at this time.

Youth Development
There was a discussion about investments using just the principle for student scholarships.

Relay For Life
Andy Robinson will not be the chairman this year. If you would like to take over this chairmanship, please contact Andy, LeRoy or George.
