The chip needs to be attached SECURELY on top of the shoe, low on the laces, not up by the
tongue.
Your race bib should be on the front of your body and clearly visible. In case there is some sort of problem with recording your time, we need to be able to quickly identify you via your bib number. Bibs should not be worn on the back of your shirt or shorts nor should it be hidden under other articles of clothing.
After finishing the race there will be GCR personnel that will remove the timing chip for you. Do not attempt to remove the chip yourself.
Be SURE to pick up your timing chip before the race, runners without a chip are not guaranteed to be timed. It is also very important that you use the chip assigned to you. Failure to do so will result in inaccurate scoring and a big headache for GCR race personnel.
